Blue Raspberry Kaleidoscope by Sue Rioux
Artist Sue Rioux has been creating beautiful kaleidoscopes from glass for almost 30 years. She is inspired by nature that surrounds her in her home in Maine.
Blue Raspberry has a dual mirror system with two connected oil filled cells. The entire kaleidoscope is finished with a patina that is added to her soldering giving a copper effect. The turning oil filled barrel contains pieces of colorful dichroic glass, beads and baubles.
